South Dakota Quilter’s Guild has been active for over 25 years, with an average membership around 200. Originally we met in Pierre, South Dakota, but now we meet 2 times a year at the Crossroads Convention Center in Huron, South Dakota, one week-end in April and September (dates vary, but normally the 3rd weekend of that month).

There is a Quilt Show in September of odd-numbered years. Our show in 2007 featured over 400 quilted items, a Quilters’ Challenge, a Featured Quilter, vendors, a quilt raffle, and free demonstrations.

Non-show meetings have classes, block exchange, Show & Tell, Door Prizes, demonstrations, Saturday noon business luncheon, Saturday nite banquet with a Trunk Show, and Friday evening “Mystery” sewcial.
